| Class: At least one
separate sheet is required for
each class run in the fixed-bracket
race format. Indicate Bronze,
Silver, or Gold, as appropriate,
in the box provided. Pilot
Name: Enter each pilots
name that competed in the class
on one line. Use more than one
sheet if there were more than 15
pilots competing in the class.
Aircraft: Identify the
type of aircraft that the pilot
finished the race with.
Time: For each round
that the pilot flew in, indicate
the time the aircraft completed
ten laps in. Example: 2:11.55
would be 2 minutes, 11.55 seconds.
If there was no time, due to a
timing error, indicate N/T
instead of a time. If the pilot
had cuts during the round,
indicate the number of cuts
recorded instead of a time, i.e.,
3C for three cuts. If the
pilot broke out of the bracket
minimum time (without cuts),
indicate B/O instead of a
time.
Position: Enter the
finish position of the pilot in
each round that he/she flew in,
as it was determined by the
flagman. Example: 1 for 1st
place, 2 for 2nd
etc. If the pilot did not start
in that round, indicate DNS
instead of a position. If the
pilot did not finish the round,
indicate DNF instead of a
position.
Points: Enter the
points earned by the pilot in
each round he/she flew in. In a four
plane heat, the 1st
place winner gets 4
points, 2nd place gets
3, 3rd gets 2
and 4th place gets 1
point. Any pilot with one cut
automatically moves to last
place, and gets one point. All
other pilots, who finished clean
(with no cuts) behind the pilot
that cut, are advanced by one
position. Pilots who cut more
than one pylon receive 0 (zero)
points. Pilots that break out (fly
the 10 lap heat clean, in
less time than the minimum
breakout time for the class they
are in) receive an automatic 0 (zero).
If the largest heat in the race
was five planes, 5 points are
available to the 1st
place, 4 points for 2nd,
and so forth. If the largest heat
in the race was three planes, 3
points are available for 1st
place, and so forth.
Race Points: The total
of the points earned by the pilot
in each round flown. If more than
6 rounds are flown, discard the
lowest scores each pilot received
and add up only the six highest
scores to determine race points.
Race Score: The Race
Score is computed from the race
points each pilot earned, by
normalizing the points to 100. To
normalize the race points
multiply them by the appropriate
factor indicated in the chart
below. Pick the factor by cross-referencing
the total number of rounds flown
and the largest heat size flown
in the race.

# Rounds
Flown
5 6.67 5.0 4.0
6 5.55 4.17 3.33
7 or more*
When 7 or more
rounds are flown, discard the
lowest scores for each pilot and
total only the
highest six
rounds. Then use the factor for 6
rounds to compute the normalized
score. A
minimum of five
rounds must be flown to have an
official race, where scores count
toward the
national
accumulated season point program.
After multiplication, round up or
down to the
nearest whole
point, as necessary.
Scale Score:
Enter the total scale score,
(including multi-engine bonus, if
applicable) from the bottom of
the outline judging sheet.
Total Score:
Add the Scale Score to the
computed, normalized Race Score.
Finish
Position: Final class finish
position is based on comparison
of each pilots Total Score.
Highest Total
Score in each racing class, (Bronze,
Silver, & Gold) is 1st
place.
